I fought so hard, I gave it all,
Each step a battle, every fall.
The weight of fear, the sting of doubt,
A war within, no way out.

I trembled in the dark, alone,
The world was heavy, cold as stone.
I whispered prayers to skies of gray,
Hoping for the pain to sway.

But then I woke, and saw the cost—
The fight was over, I had lost.
The scars remain, the heart still aches,
And every breath a choice I make.

I wonder now if I should go,
Escape the storm, let the winds blow.
For all that’s left is endless fight,
A future darker than the night.

I’ve been crushed, broken near the brink,
And every day I feel I sink.
The world is hard, and getting worse—
A never-ending, bitter curse.

But still, I stand, though not with grace,
With trembling hands, down turned face.
For maybe, in this world of pain,
I’ll find some way to rise again.

I think of leaving, letting go,
But something whispers not to know—
How much harder it may yet be,
For in this fight, I might be free.
